Michael Richwine Blog

Hi, I’m Mike Richwine

MikeI’m thrilled to have you here! As the first Boomer, father to seven, and grandfather to twelve, I hail from Speedway, Indiana. This blog has been my pet project since 2013, with its share of starts and pauses. But here we are, plugging along and learning together.

I’m the opposite of a philosopher and far from a learned person with a highly developed intellect. Instead, I’m a pupil, a researcher, and, most importantly, a plugger. My goal is simple: to navigate the journey of robust health and enjoyment alongside you, my fellow Baby Boomers.

I grew up in Speedway, Indiana during the golden age of American racing.

For decades I listened to stories from a Texas trucker who once raced at Indianapolis — stories about oil fields, ambition, risk, marriage, and the kind of confidence that built a generation.

Eventually, I decided to write them down. I have also journaled and written short stories for many years and they can be found in the Journal section. My hope is that as you read these posts, you will share your findings and experiences. Let’s create a community where we support each other and pave an easier path to health and happiness.
