Getting to the Maya Mountain Research Farm required a two hour flight to Houston, two hour flight to Belize City, one and a half hours of a puddle jumper with four stops, a hour ride to Columbia San Pedro village, a hour dugout canoe ride in the pouring rain, and dragging my soaked luggage up to the Farm. Rough start.
